Reputable but inexpensive home inspection services in Melbourne, Australia.?

My house's walls are begining to crack. Need an engineer/architect to inspect and advise on whether repair is needed. I understand that these services can cost up to 500 dollars per hour. I need reputable and experienced businesses who deal with home inspections. They must provide written reports.

I am not sure how it is done down under, but in the states we have and local building inspector, they will tell you if something meets the codes, Be sure to check with the police department and see if there are any scammers or complaints against anyone you might be considering for the job. It's business. Don't mix friendship with business, you will loose every time. When you pay a person for a job, they are not your friend, every one is out to make money, yours or mine. Don't forget OK! something my Dad taught me a long time ago.
